Welcome to School from Mr. McFarland, Marsahll Academy Administrator

Congratulations on your acceptance to Marshall Governor’s STEM Academy (Marshall Academy) for the

2020-2021 school year!   We will start this school year virtually with students accessing instructional materials from two Learning Management Systems (LMS) Schoology and Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.  Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to transition later in the school year to in-person learning.

Marshall Academy offers highly specialized and technical courses that will allow you to develop the understanding, skills, and knowledge required to be successful in either college or a professional career.  Students will have an opportunity to select a career pathway through our career exploration program, earn an industry certification, and participate in a valuable career experience.  I encourage everyone to mark Thursday September 3 on their calendar to participate in our virtual orientation. This is the time for students to learn about their teachers and the critical importance of building a positive student - teacher relationship.
